It must have more than eons since my last entry. Well, definitely one when I was back in Singapore. Yeap, my friends would have known, I'm right alone here in the land of cantonese. ;) Typing away my first entry in the temporary apartment at Sheung Wan. And having my laundry hung around in this shoebox place. Talk abt tiny.
It has been 2 and a half weeks that went by. Not that all alone, I must say. I had family & friends company over the 2 weekends. Well of course, weekdays dinner, laundry, tv-ing, sleeping - all just by myself. And perhaps in years to come. Hmm..getting accustomed to it so far. Loneliness creeps in yet? Not exactly I would say. Been too exhausted over the weekdays, would just grab simple dinner and crash out.
Ok, apart from all that, I do like Hong Kong. But apart frm the fact that language is pretty much a barrier for me. Mandarin and Cantonese - Nah ah.
I've experienced the massive rush hour here man! People running for trains, when the next would just arrive in 1 to 2 min. There's no food court nor hawkers, which makes me do miss the food back home (although I honestly did complain abt the food place in Singapore back then) Club/Pub - LKF! Crazily different! DIFFERENT. It's almost like having a carnival every weekend. But then again, I'm too old?boring?can't drink-soul here, doubt am gonna head the clubs on weekends.
Can't wait to settle down in my new apartment in 2 more weeks to come!
This weekend my baby and family are coming in!!
Well and hopefully, one should watch more for this space soon (that's just for my friends thou) I would keep you guys updated ;)
I was told, Don't try to keep a safe distance so as to see what happens. Don't wait to be certain before you take that step. What you give, you will receive, although it might sometimes come from the place you least expect.
It's been a year and I've torn myself apart. Far more than ever. Through it all, undeniably bastard enough. I ran. Nothing near falling. And now, I gave up. Or rather, I gave in, to myself.
As much as I don't trust myself, I'm starting to reconcile where I left off.
She, makes me this happy.
First trip to Taiwan. Probably post a few more pics abt the trip. One memorable trip ;)

No one can fall in love if he is even partially satisfied with what he has or who he is. The experience of falling in love originates in an extreme depression, an inability to find something that has value in everyday life. The "symptom" of the predisposition to fall in love is not the conscious desire to do so, the intense desire to enrich our lives; it is the profound sense of being worthless and of having nothing that is valuable and the shame of not having it. For this reason, falling in love occurs more frequently among young people, since they are profoundly uncertain, and often ashamed of themselves. The same thing applies to people of other ages when they lose something in their lives - when their youth ends or when they start to grow old.
Have been, thankful. Til then, I'll be sorry. To them, whom I've met. One need to start caring. Actually, I might already have.
