When work gets terribly busy, there's absolutely no spare time to even blog. All spare time is spent doing everything else possible. But today's a stay in sunday with fi on the couch lazing after tanning at my yard and while we're waiting for dinner, I'm trying to blog. Ok, just slapping photos online. There are actually more pictures to load, but these are all I can afford for now, I mean..the time.

The day before, pre-birthday with my colleagues at Movida. Had like beer, vodka and flaming lambo and as you all know, I can't drink for nuts, it totally knocked me out completely. But they're really one fun bunch, with the bosses too. ha! And thanks for sending me, the wasted one home, safely. (will post pics another day)

And a surprise gathering after dinner, with my family and closest friends whom I considered them as family too. So a big family birthday gathering + 5 bottles, with moet chand, the flaming lambos = a blasting fabulous time.

Weather was pretty bad and we were deciding between Botanic or Sentosa but chose the latter as it may have more shelter than the other. It's pretty much a 1st time picnic by the beach. Miraculously, weather turned out fine and it was cooling enough to eat outdoors. Even the mat was a last min buy.











We finally had the time to ourselves, totally relaxed and catch up on anything and everything.

And before dinner, we head to Vivo to shop around. It felt like years since I last step into any shop.

Then brought the babe for dinner on the hilltop. Totally away from the city.



I love teppanyaki. scallops,prawns,steak,sashimi....great food.

And ride back down to town to catch the fireworks. But of course, there's like massive jam everywhere and here are the few not so successful shots. But we did catch pretty much the whole fireworks display while on the road but just not on cam.

Baby showing off her new gift...after me going around, researching and looking for the special cut and the way the diamond holds onto the band and the many different grades of color and clarity, I finally found the right one (i hope?). But I still can't understand how it can be a girl's bestfriend..?

It's been half a decade.... and I'm still this much inlove with you.

and we ended the night catching "The Secret". And the babe couldn't stop crying... nice storyline thou.

Wed: jacuzzi dip, ran-workout followed by relaxing spa and hit the modules, all at home.

Thurs: spent the morning/afternoon lunching and swimming with family at the club . Its been yrs since we last visited the club. Brought dog to vet, watched teeny-bit of NDP then dinner with fi. Followed by the studies again.

Fri: Head by granny's place for a long visit. Ran/workout and head the books again.

Sat: Exam! It's evil-ly tricky. Keep my fingers tightly crossed. But Fi made lunch for me at her place, her all time specialty - Spagghetti. She's one of the best spagghetti cook and I swear by that. Besides who am I to complain so much about studying these 3 days when fi had only few hrs of sleep after work and still prepared lunch for me. And lotsa fun with little Dylan (Fi's nephew), he drives me crazy with his adorable giggles and spin-ner-ronies in his walker chair. Fi stayed over and we just spent hrs catching up on our videos.

Sun: met the best friend and finally had the time to snap more pics with the new-comer of the family. Had lunch and tea at Robertson quay. And next time, I'll definitely remind myself never to try-out lunch at 3 in the afternoon. Almost everywhere's close.

These few days were just remarkably spent, (personal opinion) ever since work life began, lotsa time lost without spending quality time with loved ones. All much thanks to my boss who gave me the 3 days leave at her own discretion (without having to debit my AL) which hmm...was actually for me to study. And yes, public holiday is still ain't a holiday for me, cause other asian mkts are still open. Sigh.

And I finally had the time to cut my hair. But I've yet to indulge myself in any form of retail therapy. I've absolutely no time spend. But I guess I'm gladly enjoying every single cent saved.

and we've been totally off nicotine for the past 8 mths. no cravings, feel very much healthy! =)

besides being absolutely busy with work for the past few weeks and trying to monitor shares on the market, I'm trying to spend every free time with family and fi. And ever since the market's been so volatile, trades are lesser and that gives me time to sit in the office and monitor my own. Thou it probably is a good time to shop now, but it's just too volatile.

And I've realized how bad I am at remembering people's names.

And we're still deciding Seoul or Tokyo in Nov?
